Flight controls software engineer/advanced programs - (Palmdale, CA)

Description:This engineering position is with our Historic Skunk Works in Palmdale, California. This position supports Stability and Control, and Guidance, Navigation and Control (GN&C) efforts. Assignments include Control Laws Development, and integration and coordination with software design, implementation, and systems integration teams. Tasking also includes reporting to Technical Management and Cost Account Manager. Need to have demonstrated current knowledge of stability and control analysis, flight control system architecture, autonomous control algorithms & analysis, system integration and test. Strong system engineering background and the expertise to mechanize the requirements for Guidance, Navigation and Control systems is highly desired. Must be proficient at making presentations to customer groups and internal community. * Must be a US Citizen.
