Job DescriptionThe Palms at La Quinta Assisted Living & Memory Care, the premier assisted living community in La Quinta, is now hiring for a full time Charge Nurse.Brief Summary of the Position: Administers or assists residents to self-administer medications and treatments; measures vital signs and weight; and performs other health services tasks. Communicates with physicians, and documents pertinent details. Adheres to home health, hospice, and emergency protocols.Min Job Requirements:· Must be eighteen years of age.· Demonstrated expertise to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.· Maintains current professional LVN license.· Maintains current medication assistant related certifications in applicable state.· Maintains current CPR and 1st aid certification.· Meets state health related requirements.· Expertise to work in a team setting and be a team member.· Possess management expertise.· Possess excellent customer service skills.· Expertise to work under time constraints
