WATER TREATMENT PLANT OPERATOR CLASS III The Pulaski County Public Service Authority is seeking a qualified Water Treatment Plant Operator for a 3.0-mgd conventional surface water treatment plant.Current Class III Water Treatment Certificate issued by the Commonwealth of Virginia is preferred, high-school diploma or equivalent and five or more years of responsible background operating a Class II or higher surface water treatment plant.A valid Virginia driver's license is also required.This is a full-time position that includes health, dental and optional Vision benefits as well as retirement with the Virginia Retirement System, optional 457(b) Deferred Comp, paid holidays and much more.Salary is commensurate based on education and background.Interested individuals can apply at the Virginia Employment Commission Office or may download and submit an application from to Tammy Safewright, Human Resources Director, 143 3rd Street, N.W., Suite 1, Pulaski, VA 24301.Position is open until filled.
