Cheese Packager - (Jerome, ID)

Position description: The production worker position performs all tasks involved in the production of the company's cheese products. This includes packaging, cooker, brine, CFS, inspecting, and totes. The position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible. The schedule for this position is Monday through Wednesday each week and every other Thursday, five a.m. to five p.m. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Operation and monitoring of packaging and casing. * Safe operation, sanitation, and maintenance of above mentioned equipment. * Monitors the complete process for safety, efficiency, and quality. * May assist in dumping of salt into hopper or brine. * Maintain the packaging room, casing room, brine room and dry storage in a clean and sanitary fashion. * May assist in changing of mold sizes and cleanup of cheese molder and cooker/stretcher as needed.
