Quality Control Chemist - (Spring, TX)

Accella Polyurethane Systems is seeking a Quality Control Chemist for spray foams. The applicant will be responsible for quality control covering a variety of wall insulation and roofing spray polyurethane chemistry. The position will collaborate together with R&D, field service and manufacturing technicians to maintain the highest quality for all products. This position will be part of the Accella Polyurethane business located in Spring, TX and report to the Technical Director. Key functions & Responsibilities: Operate lab QC testing equipment and perform troubleshooting as needed Test and approve incoming raw materials Perform QC on both open cell and closed cell polyurethane foams Investigate product quality concerns Maintain files of Safety Data Sheets and Certificates of Analysis for raw materials Bias toward action with expertise to operate independently as needed Attention to detail with clear and complete documentation skills Strong laboratory skills desired with expertise to follow written procedures
