Production 1st Operator/Line Supervisor 1st, second and third shift available $17.65/hr ($.60 shift differential second and third shift) Primary Duties: Supervise 2-12 people The 1st Operator has the responsibility to ensure the quality of product shipped to the customer. If quality is suspect, the 1st Operator has the authority to stop production. Support safety, health, and environmental rules and lead by example. Identify unsafe acts and follow up on actions until problem is solved. Working in cell unless on a project approved by the Team Leader. Must become knowledgeable in all areas of the cell in order to train the other associates. Understand the customer specifications and processing conditions to ensure quality of the products in the cell. Listen and respond to suggestions and issues in a timely manner. Involve others in the decision making process for the group. Ensure that production paperwork, including machine process logs, are filled out correctly and maintained as required.
