EH&S Manager - (Wooster, OH)

Description: Under the direction of the VP of Compliance, the EH&S Manager is responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of OSHA and EPA programs and procedures that support a “safety 1st” culture. This includes all relevant record keeping, maintenance of required data (Inspection and Training records). This role interacts primarily with plant management to accomplish team safety objectives. PRIMARY ASSIGNMENTS INCLUDE: Acts as the face of the safety environmental programs, policies and procedures for the company. Identifies hazardous conditions and takes corrective actions to solve those issues. Assesses safety and health risks associated with equipment, materials, process, facilities and personnel. Maintains accurate records and collects data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in EH&S practices and compliance. Supports employee safety committees in both facilities in Wooster supporting foundry, machining, and assembly operations.
