Job Purpose and Function * Schedule and supervise all kitchen staff at the Rough Rider Hotel * Rotate and control food inventory * Provide and secure the inventory * Maintain quality food and presentation * Maintain clean, safe, and sterile working conditions in the kitchen * Conduct weekly safety meetings * Consult with the personnel manager for filling staff positions * Provide info for the promotion, evaluation, and termination of employees * Attend all meetings pertinent to the operation of the Rough Rider kitchen * Train kitchen staff * Conduct staff meetings when necessary * Present policy and procedure info to the food service staff * Coordinate with the front of house personnel * Provide input on the preparation of the menu * Complete monthly inventory * Attend and participate in weekly managers' meetings
