Planner/Buyer The Planner/Buyer is appointed by, receives authority from, and reports to the Materials Manager of Bettcher Industries. Candidate needs to have a background Planning in a manufacturing environment. JOB OVERVIEW: The Production Planner/Scheduler is responsible for planning, scheduling and monitoring production activities for assigned products. Planning activities should provide outstanding customer service and response, while optimizing inventory levels and other performance metrics. RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties & responsibilities of the Production Planner/Scheduler include, but are not necessarily limited to the following: Utilize the Enterprise Resource Planning (Syteline) system to effectively manage resources and capacity to achieve 100% on time delivery of products to customers. Determines items to be ordered or manufactured based on the ERP report priorities, quantities to be ordered, and expected delivery dates in accordance with company policies.
