The primary purpose of this position, ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN (SPECIAL INSTRUMENTATION (SI) TECHNICIAN), NJ-0856-03, you will provide sub-professional engineering technical services to design, modify, test, interface, evaluate, and document the operation and performance of airborne test instrumentation and ground support systems. Responsibilities Plan, design, and modify instrumentation systems. Prepare the airborne instrumentation system to collect flight test data. Operationally support aircraft instrumentation data acquisition systems throughout the duration of the modification and test and evaluation program.Travel Required Occasional travel - Subject to Temporary Duty Assignment (TDY): Approx twenty days per year.
