Painter - 3rd shift - (Marietta, OH)

Position details Job assignments and Responsibilities: Pays special attention to PPE and Job Safety Analysis “JSA” guidelines based on part to be handled, etc., to insure personal and environmental safety. Inspects work piece for scratches, defects, quality related exceptions, and judges condition and action to be taken. Inspects parts for defects, such as loose welds and loose or missing parts. Moves finished pieces to storage area using pallet jacks, two-wheelers, or caster based racks, etc. Operates booths and related processes that coats parts by setting specs, maintaining materials, etc. Places or racks work piece on overhead conveyor by lifting parts and securing them to system. Cleans and finishes assembly products using approved cleaners/chemicals and tools according to PSS book and refers to HMIS/MSDS to insure safe handling and proper PPE equipment is utilized. Works in staging area to pull parts to be processed as instructed to do following production specifications on OPS card.
