Documentation Consultant - (Hartford, CT)

Family Summary/Mission: Creates implements and evaluates training tools and programs to support the development of the skills and competencies Aetna employees require to effectively achieve Aetna's business goals. Position overview/Mission: Uses a variety of documentation strategies, tools and methodologies in the creation, editing, and maintenance of technical documentation for complex and/or enterprise-wide initiatives. Independently assesses and recommends documentation strategies to meet business needs. Assesses and reports on the effectiveness and ROI of documentation strategies; supports the skill development of Aetna's documentation community. Works directly with document owners to identify documentation needs to produce a variety of technical publications. Creates databases, documentation libraries, reports, and tools. Coaches, mentors and oversees other technical writers both technical and behavioral skills for technical writing development purposes.
