The primary purpose of this position, CONTRACT SPECIALIST, GS-1102-12, is to provide business advice and to perform all pre-award and post-award functions for a wide variety of complex and/or specialized acquisitions, using a wide spectrum of contracting methods and types.Responsibilities Review complex requirements packages for adequacy and compliance with administrative, regulatory, and procedural requirements Procure complex and/or diversified services, commodities, and/or construction Execute post-award contract performance management actions on assigned contracts Serve as business advisor to a broad spectrum of customers, participates in special projects/initiatives and performs special assignments Research and recommend appropriate action or interpretation of issuesTravel Required
