POSITION DESCRIPTION Typical responsibilities of the job include : - planning and preparing lessons in relation to individual pupils' needs - teaching music theory, practical techniques to pupils - motivating pupils and encouraging progress - liaising with Director - assessing pupils abilities, providing feedback to parents after each lesson - preparing students for recitals/concerts - turning in attendance records in a timely manner QUALIFICATIONS At least a Bachelor's Degree in Music Have some background teaching and/or performing with the accordion Must live in the Bradenton/Sarasota Area
