Provides distribution center (DC) leadership to optimize service, productivity, quality, reducing operating expense and ensures high-level employee development and morale. Detailed Description - Ensures employee performance appraisals are completed. - Provides leadership and necessary tools to personnel to meet and exceed performance targets. - Balances staff to maximize assets and resources to achieve both inbound and outbound service qualifications and standards. - Recruits new employees, including selection, orientation, training, and coaching. - Works with carriers to resolve discrepancies and issues to maximize service commitments. - Manages unloading, check-in and put-away processes to ensure inbound service standards are met. - Ensures branch returns are processed within established standards. - Employee required to communicate with the public. - Employee required to analyze and interpret complex data. - Coordinates vacation scheduling to ensure both inbound and outbound service qualifications are met.
