The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the primary Tactical Air Control Party (TACP) Simulator Training Manager and operator for all Air Support Operations Center (ASOC) and Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC) simulator operations at an Air Support Operations Squadron.Responsibilities The position will maintain primary operations and management responsibilities for 1 or more simulation systems and serve as a backup operator for any other simulation systems. Simulator Operator. Maintains working expertise of current Tactics Techniques and Procedures (TTPs) related to JTAC, TACP, and ASOC mission. Simulator maintenance (including upgrades). Maintain professional and technical ability on all unit simulator(s)matters. Training administration.
