Baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college with twenty semester hours of biologic science, eight semester hours of chemistry and three semester hours of mathematics is preferred. Background: Background applying customer service behaviors and communication expertise required. Previous background as a cytotechnologist or completion of a formal program for cytotechnology is required. Certifications/Licensure: Registered or registry eligible as a cytotechnologist by the Registry Board of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists.
