Veterinary Assistant - (Mission Viejo, CA)

We are a small, 1 doctor practice looking to hire an experienced veteinary technician assistant. The right applicant will have excellent listening skills, and the expertise to prioritize many tasks at 1 time. Flexible availability required . Potential applicant will be able to: - Take direction from Veterinarian, both verbally and written - Lift up to 50 lbs - Pass a veterinary assistant skills test Applicants will have the following skills: - Cephalic and jugular blood draw - IV and urinary catheter placement - Pre-op and post-op care and prep - Pharmacy: filling prescriptions, measuring medications and labeling containers.
