Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer (New Orleans Area) - (Laplace, LA)

Position description Position provides for engineer to lead the instrumentation and assist the electrical functions on projects. Responsibilities also include consulting for all instrumentation and identifying/managing electrical consulting needs. Project assignments include: Basic data package origination Project cost control Creation of design schedules and reconciliation with other disciplines Author of scopes-of-work Author of equipment specifications Design leader for multiple designers and engineers All aspects of design including but not limited to: Application of Codes, Standards, & Regulations LOPA PSR responsibilities PHA (Area Classification) (Electrical System Studies) (Utility interface where applicable) Participation in vendor acceptance tests and site commissioning efforts Instrumentation Consulting assignments include: Pressure, temperature, flow
