JOB SUMMARY: The maintenance specialist (electrical and controls) leads a broad range of work involving troubleshooting, repair, adjustments, and calibration of industrial electrical and electronic equipment, such as PLC's, variable frequency drives, servo motor control systems, instrumentation, and industrial computers. Other specific duties include leading capital projects to improve productivity and equipment performance, providing technical support to process technicians, analyzing production data and implementing improvements in the areas of safety, uptime, quality, energy consumption, tool change cycle times and other operational metrics. Also manages troubleshooting, repair and improvement of the plant’s IT infrastructure with contracted third parties.
