Industrial Mechanic - (Byhalia, MS)

POSITION: INDUSTRIAL MECHANIC The ROCKWOOL Group’s main business area is building insulation, providing thermal comfort along with fire safety and acoustical comfort for all types of buildings. This is the role: Reporting to the Mechanical Supervisor, the Industrial Mechanic is responsible for providing a service for all company equipment and buildings within budgeted costs, to pursue plant improvements and to improve cost effectiveness. The goal for the department is to achieve less than 2% mechanical down time. Maintain a clean, safe and efficient workplace without jeopardizing product quality or the environment. To supply mechanical support of the highest level at the lowest cost to the production line so production can produce a high-quality finished product at the highest production rate. To help resolve any recurring mechanical problems with a view to maximizing equipment availability time and efficiency ensuring this is done within the guidelines of the OSHA standards.
