QC Instrument Service Technician - (La Vista, NE)

The QC Instrument Service Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, repair and validation for all QC instruments. Responsible for backing up Instrument Technicians in the daily start-up, shutdown, routine maintenance and cleaning of all QC instruments and for other duties assigned by department manager. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS: Troubleshoot and repair instruments in the Instrument Laboratory of minor to moderate complexity ensuring an acceptable level of instrument performance is achieved and with assistance from vendor technical resources as needed. Troubleshoot and repair, as needed, all returned OEM instruments. Interpret instrument performance data (QC) used as an indicator of instrument optimization and take corrective action when required. Perform installations, preventative maintenance, validation, and reliability updates for all QC instruments.
