Insurance Verification Specialist- TEMP - (Reading, PA)

Responsibilities Position description- TEMP- Insurance Verification Specialist This temp position performs a variety of functions related to the verification of insurance for patients. Completes the verification process and checks to see if pre certification and pre authorization are required. Using excellent customer service practices in the performance of all duties, works in a professional and patient oriented manner. Work involves being in a team environment. NOTE: There is a possibility for this role to convert to a regular full-time hire. Requirements Education Requirements High-school diploma or GED (Required) Background and Skills 1-3yrs Insurance Verification, medical office, or hospital registration background desired. 1-3 yrs Medical Terminology preferred Proficiency with computers and keyboarding required Key skills: Outstanding communication abilities, Excellent People skills, General Clerical Skills, Ms office, Typing 35-40 WPM, Medical Terminology, Keyboarding SDL2017
