Job Posting Clinical Lab Scientist - UP TO $6000 SIGN-ON BONUS - LABORATORY - HVMC DEFINITION This position performs quantitative and qualitative clinical laboratory determinations as requested by physicians including procurement of specimens, computation of test results, and submitting completed reports. CLASS CHARACTERISTICS This is a single position class in which the incumbents responsibility of functioning must be based on advanced knowledge and skills in providing diagnostic testing to medical staff. Incumbents are assigned to work or float in appropriate areas. Responsibilities are expanded to include participation in activities relating to quality assurance, quality control, proficiency testing, policy and procedure review, in-service training and staff development. POSITION REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION Possession of a Bachelors Degree with successful completion of an accredited Clinical Laboratory training program as evidenced by licensure from the State of California.
