Clinical Lab Scientist - Informatics - (Porterville, CA)
To perform this job successfully, must have possession of a California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license. Should have a Bachelor’s degree in science related position and completion of a California approved 1 (1) year training program. . Current understanding of computer systems and software is required. Employee must have and maintain a valid CA driver’s license. Under the supervision of the Lab Director and Lab Manager, the Clinical Lab Scientist - Informatics organizes and performs the daily activities of the Informatics, Supply Management, and Payroll coordination areas. Ensure ongoing correct functionality and suitability of the Laboratory Info System (LIS). Monitors and coordinates supplies. Must be able to work normal/scheduled working hours which may include Holidays, call-backs, weeknights, weekends, and on-call in the Director's absence. Agrees to participate, as directed, in emergencies and community disasters during scheduled and unscheduled hours.
