Sr. Research Associate - (Carlsbad, CA)

Active Motif, Inc. is a privately held biotechnology company focused on developing and manufacturing innovative kits and reagents for epigenetics and cell and molecular biology. We are currently looking for a highly motivated, team orientated individual to join our Carlsbad facility. The Associate Scientist will work with our Manufacturing and R&D groups to maintain and expand our antibody portfolio through their ability in mammalian and hybridoma cell culture. The successful applicant will be an independent and detailed oriented researcher, capable of experimental design, execution, and troubleshooting. Job summary: Maintenance and expansion of existing and new hybridomas, and manufacturing of monoclonal and recombinant antibodies • Main cell culture facilities and culture cell lines as required for experiments • Follow current protocols and methods and propose new ideas to improve in-house protocols, processes and equipment • Make detailed observations, analyze data, and interpret results.
