Production Supervisor - (Plymouth, IN)

SUMMARY STATEMENT: The Production Supervisor will provide leadership & perform essential management tasks. This is a hands-on leadership position that supports, coaches, directs and assists production leads and plant teammates as needed to achieve plant safety, quality, customer service, productivity and continuous improvement goals at the Plymouth plant in line with Pregis culture and values. RESPONSIBILITIES : Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the shift with constant emphasis on safety, quality, delivery and cost. Drive improvements and enhancements to plant safety programs. Ensures effective training and coaching of plant personnel. Ensures plant housekeeping meets established standards. Drive improvement in product quality and reduction of process scrap. Improve plant productivity through enhanced operating processes and workflow. Create, foster and maintain a focus on continuous improvement. Direct and execute daily production qualifications.
