The beautiful Hilton Myrtle Beach and Embassy Suites Myrtle Beach are looking for a dynamic Event Manager to join their team! Requirements: 1+ Years Catering and/or Event Background Required 1+ Years Hotel industry background Required Delphi Knowledge Preferred What will I be doing? As an Event Manager, you would be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of banquet and catering events in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: * Provide direction and supervision to departments to ensure successful execution of meetings and/or events * Serve on-site group and catering clients and respond to questions about the event including, but not limited to, group room blocks, food and beverage, the function space, ancillary and vendor services, affiliates/exhibitors and related billing processes * Monitor and assess service and satisfaction trends
