Youth Care Specialist Full-time, Comprehensive benefits Portland, OR Job overview: The Counterpoint Day Treatment program is seeking to hire a Youth Care Specialist; to help boys enrolled in the program to build daily living skills. The Youth Care Specialist works in a classroom setting, and within the Portland community. The youth receive services year-round, and youth attend school at an on-site accredited institution. They also receive therapeutic services on-site. About the Program: Counterpoint Day Treatment was created to provide therapeutic services for children who have experienced trauma and abuse and who have had sexual behavioral problems. We seek prevent and eliminate any future issues of sexual behavioral problems, and reduce adverse effects from trauma and abuse, and to empower youth by guiding and helping them acquire pro-social skills to increase successful transitions to the community.
