SERVICE CENTER TRAILER MECHANIC Competitive Hourly Rate and Benefits Package - (Camp Hill, PA)

POSITION TITLE: Service Center “Trailer" Mechanic REPORTS TO: Lead Mechanic / Service Center Mgr / Director of Fleet Management OVERVIEW OF ROLE: To complete repairs, inspections and service of all company equipment in a safe, timely and cost efficient manner. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Knowledge, background and capability to complete “Major” and “Minor” Trailer repairs Qualified to perform all types of Preventative Maintenance procedures on equipment Knowledge, background and capability to properly diagnose and make necessary repairs to trailer systems such as : Electrical systems Air Brake Systems, Including ABS System Liftgate Repairs Doors Components (Roll-up and Swing Doors) Suspension, Slider and Frame Roof Repairs Body, Scuff liner, Floor Repairs Tire Sizes and designs Dolly Legs Properly complete State and / or Federal Inspection procedures as required by law. Capable of operating Oxygen / Acetylene Torches Capable of Welding (Stick, Tig and Mig).
