Water Service Technician Hutchinson, KS Order: 186656 Order Type : Temp Pay level/Range: $10.00 per hour Start Date: ASAP Description: Will read and record water meter readings along an assigned route. Must be able to work unaided, possess a strong mechanical aptitude, some technical skills and have good communication and public relations skills. Will check to see that meters are functioning properly and report broken glass, lids or other meter defects. Will changes water meters, make field repairs and perform routine maintenance. Will perform customer service duties including service turn-ons and turn-offs, rereading meters to resolve complaints, post non-payment notices and shut-down notices. Answer general questions regarding billing or other utilities related subjects.
