Medical Records Specialist - (Gainesville, FL)

Responsible for Home Health and non-clinical quality audits, order tracking, face to face tracking, uploading and maintenance medical records. Position duties: Communicates with Director of Medical Records Management as it relates to billing quality audits and medical records maintenance. Maintains Medical Records Answers telephone lines promptly, efficiently, and channels them appropriately. Establishes and maintains professional working relationships with patients, payers, and other customers. Maintains confidentiality of patients and organization info at all times. Other duties as assigned by the Director of Medical Records Management. Position Requirements : At least 1 (1) to 3 (3) years of background in home health or health care. Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records. Demonstrates excellent communication and public relations skills. Knowledge of medical terminology. Personal technical skills. Business machine knowledge.
