Summary Worthington Industries is seeking an accountable Corporate Infrastructure Engineer here at our Columbus headquarters. This role will provide enterprise-level designs/solutions, deployment, support, and administration of server and storage/backup systems. Responsibilities Understand and analyze business needs and current system configurations Translate business qualifications to effective, efficient, & secure system designs (documented designs); focus on user background is a must Securely configure and deploy infrastructure system solutions and related technologies. For example: managing and installing operating systems (including virtualization) and services, developing scripts, managing and developing system capacity plans, installing and configuring hardware and software (physical and virtual), managing storage and backup systems, integrating systems to make interoperable (both on-premise and cloud) Test system solutions
