Art director Magazine Job DESCRIPTION As the leading source of details on home technology, we produce a variety of magazines catering to consumers and homebuilders. Through these publications, we have defined, cultivated and raised awareness of the $15 billion connected home industry. This is a monthly publication dedicated to providing targeted business and technology insights for IT channel pros (integrators, developers, white-box builders, solution providers and VARs) serving the SMB (small- and medium-size business) marketplace. Art Director Responsibilities: Responsible for the art direction and layout of each magazine issue. Develop and manage database of freelance illustration and photography contributors and work within established art budget. Manage the art/editorial process with the managing editor to assure on-time delivery of magazine files to prepress house. Deliver pre-press-ready files to production department.
