Commercial Underwriter - (Nashville, TN)

Job DescriptionOne of our national clients, with a regional office located in Nashville, TN is seeking a Commercial Lines Underwriter with strong casualty background in the construction industry. The ideal individual will have at least 5 or more years of related casualty underwriting background dealing with construction industry accounts that can include general contractors, electrical and plumbing contractors, land improvement and site preparation, street & road builders, bridge builders,etc. A strong preference for someone with excellent marketing abilities is also desired. This individual will work with brokers and independent agencies in TN. Background in handling Workers Comp, GL, Commercial Auto, Construction Defect coverages is desired. Strong background in the Workers Comp arena will be important. The individual should also enjoy field marketing and occasional overnight travel that will probably not exceed six nights per quarter.
