Description of Duties/Key functions Benefits Supplemental Questions Under direct supervision of the Corrections Food Service Supervisor III, monitors offenders in the preparation and serving of food; monitors offenders in clean-up and sanitation procedures; inspects food before, during and after cooking; maintains inventory records; enforces and maintains disciplinary, sanitary, security and custodial measures. Min Qualifications:Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to completion of 4 years of high-school. Requires 2 years of background in food preparation in large-scale food operation. Requires completion of an orientation-training course within 6 mnths of employment. Requires possession of a current Food Service Sanitation Certificate issued by the Illinois Department of Public Health, or requires possession of a Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) certification from a program accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Conference for Food Protection (CFP).
