Manager of Student Success - (Fairmont, WV)

Duties and Responsibilities Implements strategies for the Office of Student Success in-line with institutional strategic plans and departmental goals. Develops/creates, implements, and evaluates/assesses initiatives to increase student retention, engagement, and matriculation. Key programming assignments include, but are not limited to: 1st-year background efforts, events for various student populations, and transitional programs (such as Welcome Weekend, and the FYE Passport Program); family/parent programs (such as Family Weekend and the FSU Falcon Family Association); retention initiatives (such as grade warning communications, full-scale registration campaigns, an early alert Web portal, and withdrawal exit surveys), as well as several intervention programs (such as the Mid-Year Institute). The position also has a critical role in building and maintaining the institution's multi-faceted 1st Year Background Program, which involves the coordination of many cross-campus collaborators.
