Overview GDC IT Solutions is currently recruiting for a BI Developer in the Hummelstown, PA area. Job details The BI Developer is responsible for creating, managing and maintaining BI and analytic solutions that turn data into knowledge. In this role, the BI Developer will work in support of all managers and users requiring data for decision making. They will provide data ability with emphasis on data design, access, usage, security, and quality of info assets. Responsibilities Design, code, test, and aggregate results from SQL queries to provide info to business users. Perform data warehouse design and modelling according to established standards. Create technical documentation to capture database contents and/or relationship between existing DB entities. Participate in the design, development and analysis of data architecture and warehousing. Communicate complex technical constructs to business users. Translate business requirements into technical specifications. Evaluate and improve existing BI systems.
