Field Service Engineer - (Meriden, CT)

LOCATION: Work from anywhere in the United States Mirion Technologies is seeking a Field Support Engineer who executes customer support activities involving the installation, modification and repair of complex nuclear measurement equipment and systems. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Conduct on-site installation of equipment, software and systems using established testing procedures and training to ensure proper function of system(s). Troubleshoot and isolate equipment malfunctions and take corrective actions, analyzing hardware or software issues. Collaborate together with Technical Support and Engineering to locate and correct system faults. Setup/Configure hardware and verify proper operation. Ensure system software is functional. Introduce and familiarize customer on system hardware/software and its basic modes of operation. Complete Field Reports and prepare logs of all work performed.
