School Security Coordinator - (Verona, WI)

School Security Coordinator Duties: Reporting to the Director of Human Resources and Safety, provide leadership on school safety and security, with a focus on critical incident prevention, planning, response and recovery. This is a full time, year-round position. Qualifications: Two-year degree in police science, criminal justice, sociology, psychology or related position (or equivalent training or background) with a four-year degree preferred. Prior background and/or training in law enforcement, security, school safety or emergency/medical response is required. Must possess valid Wisconsin concealed carry license and/or license as a private detective and handgun qualification standards for law enforcement as set forth by the WI DOJ. Top applicants will have had prior success building relationships with students and educators and possess excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills. Multilingual language skills (Spanish) a plus.
