Vocational Trainer - (Portland, OR)

Vocational Trainer Portland Community College Best Consideration/Close Date: Apply Immediately; This position will close once sufficient qualified applications have been received. Work Schedule: Monday to Friday; 40 hours per week between 8am and 5pm; schedule to be arranged based on the needs of the curriculum. The Vocational Trainer is part of a team which is responsible for developing curriculum, facilitating career readiness workshops, and coordinating experiential learning opportunities to longterm unemployed and under-employed adults who are enrolled in the Reboot NW and the TechRise PDX grants. These career-focused workshops provide a structured curriculum for students who have a need to increase their knowledge of job-seeking best practices focused on the Technology and Advanced Manufacturing industries. The Vocational Trainer will also facilitate and further knowledge in career exploration, training opportunities, barriers to employment and career readiness.
