POSITION DESCRIPTION / GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for the oversight and complementary functions of the systems that support the operations of the Distribution Center. These systems include an extensive RF-based Warehouse Management System, a Damage and Returns System, strategic slotting, paperless picking systems, and forklift and cycle count productivity tracking systems. This position is responsible for maintaining appropriate slotting requirements for all products at the center and based on historical data and future requirements. Ensures that the Inventory Control department has adequate staffing, proper training, the needed tools and resources, standards of productivity, safety and sanitation, and proper procedures of stocking, selection, and quality that will meet customer demands for accurate, quality, on-time deliveries.
