SummaryThis primarily purpose of the Outside Machine Sales position is to execute sales strategy, initiate contact with existing and potential customers, identify needs and sell appropriate equipment to meet those needs. This is accomplished by building relationships with customers and potential customers. Extensive travel required. Salary plus commission. Car or car allowance. Required functions Manage assigned accounts and/or territory Generate Sales leads Follow-up on quotations and provide feedback to management on order probabilities, possible actions, and competitive references for future quotations Call prospective customers and establish buying cycles, customer needs, and create customer supplier relationship Increase sales in respective accounts Prepare sale info for customers Establish contact lists including influences, decision makers and enter into CRM. This should include any applicable customer customs, buying tendencies, etc.
