Head Athletic Trainer - (Fredericksburg, VA)

Position description The Sports Medicine Department at the University of Mary Washington is responsible for the health care of all intercollegiate student athletes on the University's sports teams. The department of sports medicine strives to prevent, evaluate, treat and rehabilitate athletic injuries. Prevention, Evaluation, Management and Rehabilitation of Athletic Injuries. Expertise to communicate info and ideas effectively, knowledge and application of the principles of Athletic Training for all sport programs, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups in areas involving nutrition and healthy behaviors. Required licensure: CPR, 1st aid, AED, NATA, Commonwealth of Virginia Athletic Training or eligible and a current drivers license. Masters degree in Athletic Training/Sports Medicine or related degree. Preferred qualifications: SPCC policies, procurement and accounting procedures. Internal Number: FA0039
