With sixteen local cancer centers within the Austin region, Texas Oncology is proud to serve our cancer population with innovative and compassionate care This job mandates a min of one year of Oncology background and research background is preferred. This is a Monday-Friday 8a-5p position with no weekends, call or major holidays. Under direct supervision of a physician, the Research Nurse is responsible for enlisting, maintaining, and assuring protocol compliance for all patients on clinical trials. The Research Nurse collaborates with physician in determining eligibility of patients for clinical trials & provides education to staff and patients; ensures site research quality by practicing in compliance with US Oncology Research, Inc.
