Principal Engineer, Integration - (Round Lake, IL)

Manages 1 or two medium to large scale new product development programs in Medication Delivery Infusion Systems & Application. Works closely with Lead System Designer (LSD) to build iterative system integration steps with clear goals & deliverables from software, hardware perspective Identifies dependency needed for integration steps ahead of time, & tracks them to closure to ensure successful commencement of integration Plans for prototype quantity, mandatory design changes, and deliverables needed for each integration cycle. Responsible for delivering an integrated infusion pump with detailed plans from primary iteration to successful system verification completion Closely monitors roadblocks, anticipates potential conflict situations for proactive solutions and resolves conflict situations, project bottlenecks as they arise, & negotiating effectively with core team, LSD, sub-system leads to result in win-win outcomes Identifies dependency needed for integration steps ahead of time
