Manual Welder - (High Point, NC)

The duties of the welding department is to weld steel components using state of the art welding equipment. Must be able to read and interpret drawings and work instructions, welding a variety of components based on production qualifications. Skill Level: Prefer one year of Mig or Tig welding background. Must be able to work in a production environment using state of the art welding equipment. Duties: Weld frames and repair Metal Bus Seat Frames. Pull and drag frames to another location once repairs are done. Lift frames to be hung on conveyor. Remove frames from conveyor. Inspect frames and check basic quality. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Utilize check off sheet to assure basic quality of work. Other duties as assigned by Supervisor. Physical demands: Must be able to stand the entire shift, with the exception of break times. Substantial lifting (up to 50 lbs repetitively), bending, stooping, twisting and repetitive action. Repetitive motion of hands. Be around moving equipment.
