Human Resources Generalist - (Chesapeake, VA)
Collects and analyzes HR data, and then makes recommendations to management. Processes paperwork for functional area according to established procedures. May prepare internal employee communications regarding compensation, benefits, or company policies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the required functions of this position) Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance. Coordinates new hire paperwork with new hires and ensures it is completed appropriately and submitted to the Corporate office in a timely manner. Coordinates the pre-employment processes, to include drug testing and background checks in accordance with company policy Serves as liaison with Chenega Corporate office for human resources related issues.
