Litigation Associate - (Independence, OH)

Our client is a growing, full service suburban law firm with a broad-based litigation practice. At this time, their litigation team is seeking to add an attorney with 3-5 yrs of diverse and complex litigation ability. The role will involve: Representing clients in complex business disputes, commercial litigation, and product liability cases through all forms of dispute resolution. The range of responsibilities will likely include: Taking and defending depositions Drafting pleadings and responding to E-Discovery requests Managing the Trial Prep process Interfacing directly with clients and prioritizing litigation tasks to effectively meet deadlines Handling appellate work Representing parties in state and federal courts throughout Ohio before judges and juries as well as in all forms of alternative/non-judicial dispute resolution proceedings Our client is seeking to hire a litigator who has developed a strong understanding of courtroom rules and procedures by arguing cases before jury and bench trials as well
