Background working with the geriatric population on all levels of skilled rehabilitation is required for any 1 applying for the SLP job. Any candidate interested in this fantastic opportunity will have the capability to work autonomously and maintain a level of 85-95% productivity. The speech language pathologist hired for this position will use his or her skills in evaluating and diagnosing patient speech disorders and develop a plan of treatment to improve each patient's communication abilities. The SLP position necessitates the candidate to work with and develop treatments based on communication with doctors and other healthcare professionals. The speech therapist will be required to participate in an interdisciplinary skilled team.
